Our speaker, Steve Mihaly, is an expert on the items and products used to promote candidates to become President. He traces the Marketing for the Presidency back to James Monroe, our fifth President who took office in 1817. Whether or not you are for Tippecanoe and Tyler Too, want a chicken in every pot, are just wild about Harry or like Ike, this talk is for you.

    April 3, 2018, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM @ Franklin Station North

The Cranberry Public Library in conjunction with the Cranberry Township Historical Society is honored to host, Marketing the Presidency. Steve Mihaly, a collector of Political Americana, will present items from his very own collection that demonstrate the unusual ways presidential candidates have marketed themselves for elections. Additionally, he will give background information on the key issues of the campaigns. The focus of the presentation will be showing items that were distributed in Western Pennsylvania. Please note, this is not a talk about political ideology, this is an educational talk, so we ask that you come to just enjoy Mr. Mihaley and hear his stories regarding campaign memorabilia.
