This program is designed for the unique needs of active older adults who know the importance of staying mentally sharp and physically stable. Researchers no longer believe that falling or losing your strength and mental capacity are inevitable parts of the aging process. This innovative class will combine all aspects of fitness - - strength, balance, brain games and flexibility. We will be doing all types of walking - working on gait patterns and using obstacles to practice going over and around. As you may know, each day can present a new challenge after a certain age so all activities will be done at the participants level of fitness as it is on that day! Free for Silver Sneaker and Cranberry Group Fitness members. Non-members may pay a drop in fee of $5/week. (Or join Group Fitness for $30 and get all 8 classes plus one month of unlimited group Fitness Classes - many of which are appropriate for active older adults)

Preparations for installing new solid surfaces at the entrances to both the upper and lower large dog park areas, as well as a new pavilion, are about to get underway. Throughout construction, which will take at least a month, the dog park will remain open. Sign boards will direct dog owners to areas of the park away from the construction work. Temporary alternate openings to both areas will be created to enable user access.
