A Matter of Balance is an 8 week program designed to help you improve your balance and minimize the risk of falling. Learn practical strategies to view falls and the fear of falling as controllable. Set realistic goals to increase activity and change your environment to reduce fall risk factors and exercise to increase strength and balance.
Program runs from 10:00 AM until 12 Noon on Thursdays, September 14 through November 2.

FREE – Because we want everyone and anyone to be able to learn the basics of Yoga. You must first check in at the Parks & Recreation desk and bring the release form to the class instructor, Nancy Triscuit.
Each week we will focus on a different aspect of Yoga practice. Alignment and modification cues will emphasized and props can be used.
Please join us – anyone can do yoga! Bring a Yoga mat. We do have a few extra mats, if needed.
