Cranberry Highlands is getting bloodthirsty

Golf is not normally thought of as a blood sport.  But anyone who donates a pint of blood at the Cranberry Municipal Center on Tuesday, August 21 will receive a two-for-one certificate good for play on the award-winning Cranberry Highlands golf course anytime throughout the 2018 season.

The blood drive, organized by Central Blood Bank, will be accepting donations between 12:30 and 6:30 PM in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center at 2525 Rochester Road.  Walk-ins are welcome, but the Blood Bank recommends calling ahead for an appointment at 866-366-6771 and referring to group code Q040.

Central Blood Bank advises prospective donors to eat well, remain hydrated, and bring a form of identification along with them.  Donors must be 16 or older, although donors ages 16 and 17 will need a signed parental consent form.
