Manager's Coffee: When to Call 911

Tuesday, May 22, 2018

May 20-26 is National EMS Week. To mark the occasion, Cranberry Township Manager Jerry Andree and EMS staff will hold a Coffee and Conversation get-together. The gathering will feature station tours, ambulance tours, giveaways and informational handouts along with EMS Chief Jeff Kelly discussing when to call 9-1-1 and what do to while waiting for the ambulance to arrive.

This will be the 44th year for the EMS recognition event, which was started in 1974 by President Ford to celebrate the important work that EMS practitioners do in America’s communities. The National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians has partnered with the American College of Emergency Physicians to lead the week’s activities.

There is no charge to attend Cranberry’s Coffee and Conversation gathering, which will be held rain or shine, and no reservations are required. However, for planning purposes, an RSVP to 724-776-4806 x1089 would be appreciated.
