Tween Lock In

Friday, October 13 from 6:00 - 9:00 PM

Bring your friends and join Ms. Janae after hours in the library, from 6:00-9:00 PM.  We will watch a movie, enjoy some snacks and play games. Online registrations is required! (There must be a minimum of 5 tweens registered or the program will be cancelled.)  Register Here

Tween Video Night

Wednesday, November 1 from 6:00 - 7:00 PM 

Stop by for some Wii video game fun to help celebrate International Games Week. This program will be held in our Meeting Room. Registration is required.

October 30 Stop in from 4:00 - 5:00 PM for some Halloween tricks and treats. There will be crafts and activities. Don't forget to wear your costume. No registration required. All ages welcome.

Stop by the Young Adult section anytime between 4:00-5:00 PM to create, make, invent, experiment, or build with Ms. Janae. This is a drop in program, no registration is required.

Homeschool Crafternoon

For children ages 6-11. Stop by between 1:00 - 2:00 PM and make a craft on the second Thursday of each month. Leave when you’ve finished the craft, or stay and hang out with other homeschoolers! This is a drop in program, no registration required.

Lego Club

For grades 1-6. Meet on the third Thursday of each month between 4:00 - 5:00 PM. Join others at the tables out in the Children's Department for an hour of free building with other LEGO enthusiasts. Work on the challenge of the month, and stay until 5:00 or leave when you’re done.

Please join us for this new program where kids can play their way to school success! Each session will feature different activities that are aligned with the PA Learning Standards and kindergarten readiness skills. This program is funded by a grant from The Office of Commonwealth Libraries.  Online registration required.

Tail Waggin’ Tutors

For elementary-aged children. We will have a Meet-n-Greet in September where you can meet the dogs and learn more about the program! Practice reading with one of our dog tutors the first Thursday of each month starting in October. Online registration required.

For grades first-third. We will meet every Wednesday in October from 6:30pm-7:00pm. We will read together each week, then do activities or crafts related to the book for the month. The books will be provided at each club meeting.  Registration is required.

This chapter book club for Tweens will meet every Wednesday evening in October from 7:00 - 7:30 PM.  We will read together each week, then do activities or crafts related to the book of the month. The books will provided at each club meeting. Registration is required and a minimum of 5 participants is required for this event to take place.
